Dr. Adela Cabrera
Dr. Adela Cabrera brings nearly 30 years of clinical experience using Oral Appliance Therapy.
Her career has been defined by a comprehensive, patient-centered approach, successfully treating temporomandibular disorders (TMD) through customized Oral Appliance Therapy.
Following the American Dental Association’s 2017 recommendation for dentists to evaluate airway health, Dr. Cabrera expanded her practice to address sleep apnea as well. This integration has allowed her to treat both conditions simultaneously, leading to improved clinical outcomes for both.
A formal diagnosis is required through a sleep study (sleep test) to accurately evaluate your sleep patterns and confirm the presence and severity of sleep apnea.
Traditional sleep studies can be costly, inconvenient, and disruptive. We offer a modern alternative: We help coordinate an at-home sleep test with a comfortable wireless patch and app, providing accurate, patient-friendly results across multiple nights via our trusted partner - Wesper.
Comfortable at-home sleep test options available!

How Does A Sleep Appliance Work?
An oral appliance fits over your teeth like an Invisalign tray while you sleep and supports your jaw in a forward position to keep your airway open. A custom-fit oral appliance can improve your sleep, restore your alertness, and revitalize your health.
If you and your doctor decide that oral appliance therapy is the best treatment option for you, your doctor will write a prescription and refer you to Dr. Cabrera who can make a custom-fit oral appliance. Dr. Cabrera will provide ongoing treatment to make sure your appliance remains comfortable and effective.
